Upon receipt of a referral from a local business banker, the Worldpay Account Executive met with a unique hotel and restaurant – a seasonal lodge located at the top of a mountain in a remote area. The client needed new terminals for their front desk, restaurant, and gift shops. After taking the time to do a personal installation, the Account Executive became more acquainted with the property owners and gained a deeper understanding of their distinctive business model. They soon discovered the client had three separate vendors that were currently supporting their lodge, restaurant, and website.
In-depth conversations with the client led to identifying how Worldpay could better serve their needs through a POS system, supporting the payments needs for their lodge, restaurant, gift shops and website. What initially started a simple terminal installation expanded into a $7M dollar high revenue opportunity!
Having a little extra care went a long way to close the deal, exceed client expectations, and offer the chance of even greater revenue for the financial institution and Worldpay.
